Recognising UK businesses and charities who are making the most of being online

What is the UK Domain Leaders Programme?

The UK Domain, run by Nominet, has launched a programme to recognise small businesses and charities that are leading the way online with great .UK websites. As one of Nominet’s purposes to support SMEs and charities getting online, it is endorsing this programme to encourage more businesses and organisations to use a .UK domain, promote those in the UK already making excellent use of being online, and to demonstrate the benefits of being part of the .UK family.

Who are the UK Domain Leaders?

The UK Domain Leaders are a community of .UK advocates who attribute much of their success to having a website and using a .UK domain. The UK Domain have selected and endorsed these businesses and charities to showcase their stories of how being online has worked for them in a series of case studies.

By becoming a UK Domain Leader you’ll have:

  • A platform to tell your story through our case studies, social media, and blogs.
  • Increased business profile by becoming part of UK Domain marketing campaigns.
  • A link from the UK Domain website to your own website.
  • A badge to promote on your website and any other marketing materials or social media platforms you use.

We’re passionate about helping small businesses and charities achieve more online, so alongside a platform to tell your story we’re always working on offering Leaders valuable benefits. There’s lots of exciting developments in the pipeline including:

  • Invitation to join an online social community to connect with other small business and charity owners and experts.
  • Access to business insights, market research, and a chance to keep up to date with the online industry.
  • Access to events.
  • Free digital skills training opportunities.
